Unless you are an EU citizen it will be very hard to immigrate for you. You need to appyl for a residence permit and a work visa. It will be a bit easier if you run your own business. If you have a business you will need to pay taxes in Germany they are very high over here. Forget about your guns that is illegal in most cases.

Get off yer tuchus and get the paperwork going. It won't do itself. By the way, I don't think the 'answers' name of TOTENKOPF (death's head / SS) is going to win you any friends in Germany. I hope that no one kn ows your 'name !

There alot of things to consider. a Passport, if you have USA passport you can travel to Germany and stay three months. After that you will need to get a resident permit. You need, a Passport, enough money to show you can pay for your stay, a good advisor to help you navigate the German System. To Own a gun depends on which state/ bundersländer you stay and the local regulations. If you are a hunter in some areas near national Park you can own a gun. You cannot own a gun to protect yourself because the police believes you take away their Jobs, they are there to respond and provide security. The police is pretty efficient.

To immigrate, you will need to apply for a visa and working permit (if you plan on finding employment in Germany). Check in with the German embassy closest to you and ask for the required paperwork and documentation. Leave your guns at home though. Germany has strict gun laws...

Forget your gun. For carrying or even owning a gun in Germany you need a license and you will get that only when you can provide a very good reason. "I like to keep them" is not considered a good reason. If you absolutely need to handle guns, you can join a shooting club ("Schützenverein") in Germany where you can practice shooting in an enclosed area with some light weapons, but these weapons will always be locked away in the club building after practice. And prepare for wearing a traditional costume and drinking a lot of beer while you are member of such a club, those clubs are more interested in tradition and folklore than in weapons. Well, it depends on the area you are moving to, actually.
