I'm going to be in Munich for Christmas, what should I do?

I'll be in Munich Germany over Christmas, including eve and day. Xmas Day I have tickets to go to Neuschwanstein, and Dachau a couple days later. What else should I do while there?

Go to the Christmas market at Marienplatz (central Munich). That'll get you in the right mood for Christmas for sure.

Visit the famous Hofbrau house and enjoy some delicious German food...and beer! The city is full of history...just take a stoll. Are you renting a car while you are in Germany? If so, get on the Autobahn and travel into Switzerland and Austria. The Alps are beautiful this time of year. Dachau is incredible. It is a tour I will never forget. Hitler's Eagle's Nest is also not far away. This is another place of history from the Nazi era. Enjoy your trip!
