What is the source of inspiration?

  I try to find things I like, find more like those and try to dive into their world (artists and writers). It works fine once you start getting into a world of people who think like you. Also, get sleep. I'm serious. There is nothing better than a clear head if you want inspiration. Also, try and discuss things with other people and change what you are thinking so you come up with something that you might not have come up with otherwise- something different and special that no one could've come up with by themselves. Also, use as many ideas as you can. If you have a dream, write it down or jot a picture that struck you. Sometimes, you just look at something and you like the aesthetics, or it gives you a plot idea. If it works, use it. Every idea is unique :D Also, appreciate spontaneity, inspiration from other's work, your own skill and thinking things through. Each one will give you great results, different from each other. Mixing them will change your outlook on how you work and are inspired. Also, Use different medias to help you- visual (video games, movies, art), sound (music-even if it's movie soundtracks or a recording of the sound of waves), and others like literature and such.
