  • Answer:

I have camped in France since 1962 and I must admit I have never come across a site which would admit a group which did not include at least one 18+ year old. Most sites ask for a camping carnet as proof of you having insurance cover (up to 2 million euros) to cover potential damage caused by an accident - say, your gas bottle exploding. (It does happen) You wouldn't be able to get a carnet as they are issued by such organisations as AA, RAC, Camping Club, Camping and Caravanning Club, etc. and you are not old enough to join any of these. And also consider this: if you were a family with children, or, like us, a married retired couple, would you want to be camped on the next pitch to you and your teenage cousins?

Holiday Green near Frejus. There is another site next to it but cannot remember the name. Holiday Green has a huge pool, tennis courts, disco and shops. Mobile homes and tents are on the site. Have a great time and protect yourselves from the sun.
