  Depends on what you want to do and your lifestyle in general. Like everywhere else I suppose. As a tourist or a resident? If the latter, as a student or a bourgeois? A few pointers: hotel rooms are from 30 euros (zero stars) to several hundred (lots of stars). A studio apartment costs about 500 - 1000 euros a month, depending on the area. Or you can flat-share which works out cheaper. You can do your own cooking, live on kebabs, very filling for 4 euros, or dine at the Tour D' Argent where I would only go if someone else were paying. For transport, apart from walking, you can get a 1 year subscription to the bicycle rental scheme Velib for a mere 29 euros (yes, that's for the whole year, but you have to pay 150 euro deposit that is only cashed if you lose a bike). Or you can take a Navigo (subway and bus) pass for a tad under 60 euros a month. Or you can take a cab everywhere. Driving a car- don't think about it, it takes for ever and there's nowhere to park. Going to the movies costs 8 euros in a regular cinema. My local municipal cinema charges 5. I don't know what it costs to go to a lap-dancing club.
