    I am normally a big fan of trains in France but in this case I would fly to Hamburg, either from Nice or from Paris. There are no direct trains from Nice to Hamburg, it would take forever and won't even be cheaper. You can either: - take the train from Nice to Paris (5hrs30 to 7hrs 30) and fly direct to Hamburg from Paris (there are Easy Jet flights for 50-60€) - fly from Nice to Hamburg. All flights will have one connection.
