  I wouldn't recommend Paris Visite as it covers a wide range of area where you might not be able to visit during 5 days. Instead you should purchase the metro tickets called the carnet. It's a booklet of 10 tickets. This would allow you the flexibility and is a lot more cost effective than Paris Visite. To go to the Versalles, you can take the metro to the RER station (RER C is what you need to take to get to Versaille. Btw, you might also want to get the Museum Pass. If you're there for 5 days, you could get a 4-day pass.
