    I never been there but checked it on the Inet.. I leave in Paris so can easily tell you that the hotel is located in a very nice area. Better verify it is the same address though... 55-59 AV Raymond Poincarré, Paris 75016? Is it the one? Anyway, the bois the Boulogne is indeed to be avoided after dark but absolutely no problems at all during the day especially on the WE. Recommend to use it for some exercise.. Also you will be rather near the Eiffel tower and Champs Elysées.. So don't worry, plenty to do walking distance. Plus in Paris the buses work very well and are a very safe and practical way to get around day or night, much better than the metro in my opinion. Finally, the Vélib (public bicycles) at everyone's disposal for cheap and pleasant transportation around town.. Enjoy your stay in 'la ville lumière'!
