I think that one game is enough. At a house warming party all you need to do is just sit back and enjoy your friends company in your new home. Have a superb night!

you can get keys at any hardware store for pretty cheap. or check with local antique stores. maybe you can focus on games for the kids to play so the parents can have time to relax and just enjoy the party? twister, catch, sports, tag, red rover, red light green light, etc. if you really want to do a game for the adults, the key one sounds ok. don't overschedule the party for the adults though - supply food, drinks, good music and places to sit and they'll be happy. you really dont need to get a gift card for the winner - something small like a bag of candy, a key ring, etc would be totally fine. why is your friend hosting a house warming party for you? A house warming party is supposed to be at your house... that's the whole point? to get people in to see the place, welcome them and you to your new home, etc.

My suggestion (I speak from experience with my own housewarming party):- alcohol + pictionary/taboo/snatch scrabble = heaps-of-fun :p
