How can i breed my Betta fish?

URGENT!!! can i breed betta fish that are really old??? plz help?

    if you could even get them interested, then maybe...The female will have a hard time producing eggs and may die in the process. The male might not have the energy to even make a bubble nest. Also, if by some weird way, you got them to spawn, then the still born and defect rate would be enormous. If the female was even able to produce 200 eggs, (that's about the maximum because shes so old) then you may get 3 healthy babies, that you could keep. Don't try it...it wont work... AdAm

I'm not sure how people breed bettas, since the males are so territorial. If they aren't in together (a male and female) then I wouldn't suggest putting them in with each other. They could easily kill each other. Plus the fact that they are older, it has a higher chance of them not breeding.
