Internet Startups: What is the best way to stay up-to-date with big, innovative websites like Quora?

  • I discovered Quora by accident, through a random Google search. Also, I discovered too many great websites this way, often much later than I should have. So this leads me to a question: Is there any good news source or blog about BIG, relatively new web start-ups? Something to keep you up-to-date with most innovative websites that already have large user base and high quality content? Something like 'Top 100 biggest new websites of 2012 [or custom year]' should do it, although some sort of categorization would be cool too.
