    Car audio and home audio are not the same. You should not use a car speakers for home use. You could burn out the receiver or the speakers. Car speakers are designed for a small area and operate on a 4 OHM and 12 volts DC. All the speakers you mentioned are not very good at all, you are better off selling them. Look at an Onkyo HT-S3500. It is a 5.1 receiver and a set of speakers. Demo them at any Fry's Electronic. Amazon has them for around $280. You can get a cable with an rca jack on one end and a 3.5mm on the other end to connect your ipod to the receiver. Connect an optical audio cable from you tv tounit and get the sound to play on the unit. You can also connect your DVD or blu ray disc player to the unit. Connect an HDMI cable from the unit to your tv. Hope this will help you out.
