depending on the inputs/outputs on your TV, there are a lot better options than RF and RCA (component/RGB, HDMI, etc.), but if I had to choose I would go with RCA.

You won't notice much of a difference you can use the composite to hook it up to you preferred recording device and record one channel while you watch another.
