Whats the best home theater speakers out there?

Whats the best 5.1 receiver and speakers to buy to start a good home theater with?

    Take a look at an Onkyo HT-S6200, it is a 7.1 receiver and a 7.1 speaker system for under $600 at Fry's Electronic. This is a separate receiver which can handle the Dolby True HD and the DTS True HD. It has all the connection you will need. Separate components receiver and speaker system from other brands will be higher in cost. Onkyo makes very good receivers. Go online to Home Theater Magazine and read the reviews on receivers and speaker that might interest you. Home Theater in a box are not flexible for additional gear to be added to them. Hope that this will help you out.

My friend has an Energy setup and I can tell there is a slight difference in quality but not much. For the receivers I like the Onkyo TX-SR607 or the Pioneer VSX-1019AH-K. The Onkyo has six HDMI connections and the Pioneer has four connections. I like the Pioneer because you can hook up an iPod easily, if that floats your boat. It also is cheaper too.
