It's a google product so very easy, more user friendly and safe and also no complex pages full of advertisements. Its very simple and trendy. Once u join n u'll hang up with it all the time. abt friends it always depend on people like u, me n others. For job purpose I'll recommend you Linkedin.com is much better because its all abt business purpose and not for fun only. for chatting n all I've got to know abt http://www.xtranormal.com/ and http://www.habbo.com/ but i never tried. your question is very simple but its answer is not so simple. u hav to do it ur own. just try n see. don't wait n watch.
