Epson Stylus NX400 All-in-One Printer ink/printing problem. Please help?

    I agree, these printers are ink hungry and the best way to prevent the quick depletion is to manage the print quality. Some suggestions that might help are as follows: - print in batches, inkjets has a nasty way of doing a self cleaning run every time you ask it to print and it waste so much ink this way, by printing a lot of documents at once, you skip most of those start-up self cleaning activities and your precious inks are put to good use - use continuous ink supply (CIS) alternative for longer lasting ink, saves you the hassle of running out in the middle of an important print Below are the ink price references for your consideration. I prefer using the originals but its your call. Hope my posting helps.

There is no way around it. You have to have all the inks full or it will not print. Why as the person above me been given a thumbs down for saying that is how Epson are? That is how they are. He cannot post a way around it when there is a no way around it. Talk about shooting the messenger!
