How do I tell Nvidia graphics card to send signal to my computer monitor?

Try pluging in your monitor, turn it on, and go to Windows XP device manager and right click on any device and select "scan for hardware changes" in the context menu. That should trigger Windows to do a IRQ scan and find your monitor.
