What is the adult/child ratio for nursery setting?

If your setting up two monitors to one computer what do you want the screen resolution ratio to be?

  • setting up tow monitors to one CPU under settings it asks what the screen resolution ratio should be( shows to boxes with 1 and a 2 in it) they should be the same right

  • Answer:

No, the numbers being displayed are for monitor priority. Generally monitor 1 will have your most important things (and it's set as your primary display) and monitor 2 will be an extension of your Desktop. You can change the monitor priority by highlighting the second monitor as setting it as your primary display. You can change the left and right arrangement by dragging the boxes around. If monitor 1 is on the right and monitor 2 is of the left, drag box 2 over to the left of box 1; otherwise you'll end up on the left monitor by moving your mouse pointer too far to the right. Try it out; it's a little disorienting. Resolution only matters if your using nView or some other kind of hardware dual-heading. If so, then the resolutions on both will be forced to the highest resolution both can manage. If you've got a 1280x1024 and a 1680x1050, both will be set to 1280x1024. If you're just using Windows to do it, both can be set to their respective maximums with no serious problems. Just keep in mind that you've effectively doubled the load on your video card.
