Personally I have an Alienware M14x and I can run basically anything I want. I know you don't want one but it's really worth the price. My laptop cost me around $1300 and then I bought a RAM upgrade from NewEgg that cost me $160. I refuse to use any other computer now because my laptop can run things so much better. Remember, this is just my opinion. There may be better things out there that I don't know about.
