  In order to become a nurse you must attend nursing school NOT medical school. The two professions proceed differently with vastly different approaches to patient care. Medical school cannot prepare you to become a nurse. The resource page really gives the difference between nursing and medicine. The two professions are regulated differently and have different requirements for licensure. An education in medicine does not prepare you to become a nurse, and vice versa. Your statement "becoming at least a nurse" suggests that being a doctor somehow prepares one to be a nurse and it does not. It also suggests that being a nurse is part way to becoming a doctor or even being less than a doctor and that is not the case at least in the North American countries of Canada and the US. While medicine, nursing, physiotherapy, chiropractic and many other health professions share some common knowledge base, they each have their own approach and their own competencies for practice.
