  Most architects end up starting their own firms and doing small local projects on commission. Very few get into 'big' or 'name' architecture firms, and of those who get some starting job, very few survive their first 3 years and move up. Starting pay is nothing to brag about, either. There's too much competition for too few jobs. BTW, if you were thinking you could go to school in the States, then walk into a job as a way of remaining in the US, forget it. Not qualified for an employment visa. And no firm anywhere in the world pays the ton of money required to get a visa for anyone but an international superstar who qualifies for a special type of visa, not an ordinary employment visa. Best you remain in your own country where your educational background will qualify you for board exams so you can get your license to practice.
