I went to Buenos Aires a few months ago and really enjoyed it. You do need to know that it is HUGE. Make sure you figure out what section has most of the sites that you want to see and then stay close by. My favorite section was Palermo and Recoletta. When I went, I stayed in Palermo and found that to be a good place. It's called the "So-Ho" of Buenos Aires. Good luck!
