What is your favorite thing about Hug a Vegetarian Day?

    I've been around the fields hugging our vegetarian sheep and cows, some gave me funny looks, some ran away, some gave me a big grassy burp, someone walking past phoned the police. Just the wifey to go...... Never heard of this day before but, hey, any excuse suits me.. "mk"..SSHHHHH, don't tell anyone your sick, those goat-eaters will be down your throat saying "ha, ha, we knew all along veggies were pale and weak"...hope you get better soon.

It gives me reason to throw a large dinner party. Not that I ever need a reason, just people get more excited when there is a reason. I am having twelve friends over for a vegan dinner party on Saturday. It is an organized potluck dinner, and we all must try at least one new recipe. I am making a vegan Lasagne, some vegan pies, and pesto stuffed portobellos with roasted walnuts. This is going to be a great meal with hugs a'plenty, and hopefully some great recipes to add to my collection. Enjoy the day all!!! edit: It is October 1st, Monday. This was just asked early. Edit edit: I did not know about the international day. I'm looking for a hug!! Maybe I will get one at the Bob Dylan, Elvis Costello show that I am going to tonight, in MD. Aren't they both veggie?
