  • Is activex control good for ur computer or bad? When i was going to download it, it said that there were some risks... What are the risks if there are any?

    BE aware that some ActiveX controls are not safe some are. only trust Microsoft Java Macromedia. Just like anything else you download off the internet, d-load ActiveX controllers with caution, make sure it's a reputable site (if you don't know for sure, do a web search on the site AND ActiveX and see what you find in forums). There are many sites that will attempt to put malicious controllers on your computer....have seen some on a test computer that will re-download malware, viruses, and spyware everytime your computer cleans them out. Some of the evil ones are written badly and will crash your computer as well.

they always say you are at risk everytime you download something...thats builtin to your OS....Active x is needed to run a lot of stuff on yer pc..download it.
