WinRar is free. Google it and download it. It makes it very easy to unzip a file.

................lol.... I read "unzip" and I was about to get excited!! ;)) I agree with the answers above. Those free trial periods have helped me in a few cases..

If your looking for the best free application to open zip files then try 7-Zip. Then after installing it you can just "right" click the .zip file for a lot of different options or just double click it. There is also WinRar

Windows XP and upward look at .zip files as if they were compressed directories. You can look into one in Windows Explorer and drag and drop the contents elsewhere. This isn't the best for complicated program installations, but for simple stuff such as font downloads, it suffices. Hope that helps.
