Depending on how much time will you spend daily, guess you'll learn in 2 months the basics to make a somehow interesting flash presentation. You just need to read Ethan Watrall/Norbert Herber Flash MX book. Good luck Makiavel

I learn by myself from a book called Learn Flash 5 in 24 hours, which has 24 lessons that are supposed to be for 1 hour, you would have to find a more recent edition, but it is quite easy, if you don't rush it and start with the beggining. The publishing lable was somthing like Simms or Sams. Good luck, there are a lot of books, like flash for dummies, etc.

Try Swish. Lots easier than Flash and pretty versatile. Way cheaper, too.

Oh it will take a while. At least a few weeks to get the basics and longer to master, but if you're sharp and efficient, you could definitely learn it faster. The best way to learn it is to complete tutorials. I think Flash comes with some, but there are tons on-line as well.
