  Download and install Blackberry Desktop Manager. You can usually find this on the carriers blackberry support site. You can sometimes use the generic one from RIM, but better to get from Verizon (probably who you have). Then you simply go into the desktop manager with the BB connected and set up the Synchronize features to sync only what you want, and to determine who wins if there is a conflict (device or desktop). It really is pretty simple! This assumes that you DO NOT have a BES server installed at your company. If you do, it should be syncing the contacts, calendar and email wirelessly. Your email/bb admin should know how to do this if you are at a big company.
