How to download things into PSP?

When I download things like homebrews for my PSP it says corrupted data on the PSP. Why is this?

I have downloaded multiple things like PSP radio, PSP PDA, PSP Windows Live Messenger(WLPM)(ifind), but it always says corrupted dat where I saved it. It is making me angry. Please ...show more

you have to have a 1.5 firmware.. it wont work with any other versions of firmware.. there are downgrades to a 1.5.. just search online..type in what version you have right now..and then "convertor"..then 1.5 ex: 2.5 psp firmware convertor to 1.5 (the security is weaker on the 1.5..so it will allow you to hack)
