What is a good first longboard?

What size longboard should i get for a first board?

    Anything around 38-45 inches is ideal. It's not to long yet not to short. I ride a Loaded Dervish and it is great for every style of riding. my first board was a sector 9 uluwatu - 46 inches. i love that board. I bought it at zumiez.

i presume you're talking surfboards? i was a beginner and made a 6'6 but maybe thats a bit short for a long board if that's what you're wanting. but anything in the 6's is probably good. minimal's are good for beginners also. good luck finding your board. hope i helped.
