  The 3000 is the best. That is the one I bought after doing tons of research. Here is the rundown: PSP 1000 was the original, "phat" PSP. PSP 2000 was mostly a redesign to make it smaller, and is therefore usually called "slim". It turned out that the 2000 has a screen error which often results in ugly, visible scan lines. PSP 3000 fixed the PSP 2000 screen error, was outfitted with a brighter, prettier screen, included a built-in mic and Skype capability. PSP Go was another smaller redesign, but dropped the disc drive in favor of an all-download format.
