Do driving instructors still do lessons if it's snowing?

  • Here in england (isle of wight) it's supposed to snow quite heavily tonight, and it's snowing right now!!

    When I learned to drive I asked my instructor the same question. The answer was at some stage in your driving life you will need to drive on snow so you might as well start now while I am in the car with you. So its really down to the instructor and his view on your capabilities and obviously the road conditions as he will not put you and other road users in danger if he can help it, however as someone else said you would be unlikely to get a driving test in the snow.

They do where I live - but then Winter here lasts for about 6-7 months. We don't even regard Spring and Fall as Seasons here. The only time driving courses are cancelled is when the weather is really foul.
