What are the basic cheerleading moves ?

  Jumps: toetouch hurdler (L&R) hurkey (L&R (if your school does those)) pike Tumbling: roundoff backhandspring Motions: high V T low V R&L V R&L punch broken T the difference between a clap and a clasp (they really nag you about this one! lol) you will also need these skills: loud voice smile! act like you're having fun, even if you're not you shouldn't have to know a random cheer because at tryouts, they'll probably teach you one but I don't know; other schools might not do that so heres a cheer: Lets go! Lets go (school mascot)! C'mon (school mascot), lets go! Its pretty simple but lets see if you can get the motions right! Let-(high V) s(broken T) go(low V) lets go(clasp) (school mascot)(T) C'mon(clasp) (school mascot) (clasp) lets go(right punch) **when you do the last motion, bend you legs and then clean with you arms by your side because during the cheer, your legs will be apart.
