Internet cuts off when phone rings?

  • i have the BT home hub wireless connection and when the phone rings the internet cuts off or when im in the middle of a phone call i get cut off the phone whats the problem?

    your internet is probably conected to the phone in order for it to work.so im guessing when your fone rings the internet is cut off due to the fact that you cant ave two of thoes things running at one time(get wireless modem) belkin is the best!!!!!!

I would suggest contacting your service provider. While I am unfamiliar with the product, from what I have found on the internet, it looks no different from a VoIP hub that my Cable company provided. Well, a little different. If I were to make a guess, I would say that either you do not have something set correctly for the phone, or the "modem" part is not set. This may also have something to do with signal strength in your area.
