Can an ipod touch catch a virus if it is plugged into a computer?

if i plugged in my ipod touch to a computer and that computer got a virus while it was plugged in, would the ipod touch get the virus?

I asked this question a while back and just now saw this. Weeelll the answer is yes.. If you're computer is infected with a virus of some sort.. it could very well be spreaded to the ipod. I know this by experience.. Or vise versa.. If you downloaded some sort of corrupt song onto your ipod.. You're computer could catch it's virus as well.

no I don't think it would. Cuz when you plug the ipod in, it would just transfer over what was on itunes, not the virus the computer has.
