Can you delete your history on your iPod touch?

How can I delete history permanently from iPod touch 4g ?

    Go to settings safari and turn on private browsing in privacy and nothing will get saved on the itouch history

if you get ios 5, your upod touch has a private browsing. turn it on then ther no more history! hope this helps its works great for me!

you could reset your Ipod completly and than back up all your stuff from your computer.

U can delete by goin to setting etc n ull see it but nothin really deletes. because if u delete it it still will be there n u just cant access it nymore. to really clear reset ur device.
