What is a good TV brand?

Am interested in purchasing a flat screen TV, What's a good brand and type ?

I'm having Direct HD TV installed, as my cable bill is very costly. I'm in the market for a new TV and want to get a flat screen, HD. Probably a 42" would be sufficient, ...show more

All HD Plasma TVs are now really cheap... These are good brands: LG, Samsung, Sony and Panasonic. LCD and LED are both good. 3D is new but the 3D glasses are costly and is bad for your eyesight. The TV I have is a 2010 Plasma LCD, 50", LG and is interactive which means it can record up to 250GB of TV recording and you can also store music, pictures and videos on it. But I don't think they have this TV anymore... The really good TVs are the ones that have internet on them, I don't think they're too expensive but they're heaps good for entertainment and internet use. Hope I've helped :)
