How do you record from sky to dvd recorder?

Can I record terrestrial and Sky through a DVD Recorder? And how?

  • I am trying to connect my DVD recorder up to pick up both terrestrial channels and my Sky dish. I have 2 SCART sockets on my Sky Box and DVD Recorder, and one on my TV.

    you might need to buy a scart extension thing as your TV only has one mine has three and looks like spaghetti junction this may help as we record programs from are DVD recorder. good luck.

yes select the channel on the sky box, select the record from the relevant SCART channel ont he DVD recorder assumes that yiu can specify which SCART to use on yoiur DVD check the second SCART socket is bidirectional some are one way

Chain 'em up like this, assuming when you say teresttrial you mean digital terestrial. Freeview box -> Sky Box -> DVD Recorder -> TV Otherwise plug your terrestrial aerial straight into your DVD recorder and tune it for analog.
