Is a Projector and screen better than a flat screen tv?

    It depends on how big you want the picture. Flat screen TVs are limited to about 80 inches before they start to pixleate. While with a projector you can get a much larger picture.

Forget projectors, when the bulb goes they cost a fortune to replace.

A DLP or projection system is not even near the quality of a good flat screen TV..!!

Well they are cheaper for a reason they halve to be in a dark room otherwise you can't see **** on the screen they break easy and you have to buy filters for the projectors but you can watch cable and play videogames and all that but you still need to buy cables and gear special for the projector in other word bite the bullet and go for the 70 inch tv

I would go with the flatscreen.

Flat screens will definitely give you a better, clearer picture. Projection type TV's are old technology and no where near the resolution of today's flat screen tv's. Projection screens require dim room lighting for best clarity.
