What is the qualification required to be an income tax officer?

Is an employee not required to file income tax return if the income is less than 5 lakhs?

  A salaried person( total income not more than 5,00,000/-) is not required to file IT return for the financial year 2011-12 (Assessment year 12-13) if he fulfills following: 1) Declares his PAN to his employer, 2) Employer deducts TDS on Total income & Form 16 is received 3) He doesn't have any other income except Savings Bank Interest that too less than Rs. 10,000/-. 4) Saving Bank interest is declared to employer Did you fulfill all the above?? Check all this, Check your Tax Credit Statement (Form 26AS) to know if the TDS by your employer is updated there and also is there any other TDS.
