How do you perceive quiet or introverted people?

Personally..people end up thinking I am stuck up..or that I just like being alone..which is not always the case..just because quiet people don't talk alot doesn't mean that a person shouldn't talk to them or that they don't want someon to talk to them. We're just busy in our own heads..or would rather say something useful instead of just babbling on nonsense..

Usually I don't have a problem with quiet people. Quiet people usually have interesting things to say.

Much like how I was a few years back. Not really feeling compelled to say anything to anyone unless they talked to me first, or I really had to talk to them. I think shy/quiet people are waiting to get out of their shells. I'm glad you don't like to talk just to talk, because those people are annoying...

i'm mostly quiet, so i can relate to you. I know personally that there is no reason to judge quiet people negatively on that fact alone.

I feel you. Sometimes I just don't want to talk! But some people view that as being depressed or stuck-up or something. But if you put yourself in their shoes and you think about how it would be like to have everyone talking and one person sitting there alone and quiet, then I could see why they would think that. Yeah some people can be quiet and not seem intimidating. Some quiet people seem to avoid eye contact and socializing and it's like they don't want to bother with socializing. I can be this way.. specifically only at work haha. I'm so bad at faking interest etc. But with my co-worker-friends, I'm loud etc ugh..

i know what you mean because i am the quiet type and my family thinks that i act like am better then them which thats not my intentions to do i am just quiet and keep to my self.

I percieve them to be not black and therefor, moral and law abiding citizens.
