Does the iTunes plugin change your status on Yahoo messenger?

My yahoo messenger closes on my whenever I try to change my status.?

  MIne does the exact same thing and I have not figured out why yet either. And the odd thing is that if i sign in with another account it works just fine!!! So it has to be something account related. I will keep a watch on this question of yours and check back to see if anyone has any suggestions. Good question. Ok well after trying a bunch of stuff, I finally got it to where i can change my status w/o yahoo crashing. I wonder how long it will last. First I exited yaho messenger by right clicking icon by clock. This is what I did. I deleted the contents of the yahoo cache folder (My Computer>>C:drive>>Program Files>>Yahoo>>Messenger>>Cache). And just becuase i had read on here about maybe skins causing an issues I deleted the extras yahoo skins that yahoo provides for a download there are 4 of them Bronze, Celadon, Pink, and Gray Orange. They install into the Shared/Graphic Folder of the Yahoo Folder in Program Files. I am not sure if you downloaded any of these or other skins that people made. Anyways I will wait and see how long this works and then may try putting the skins back later. I hope this helps you.
