How do I delete an account that I no longer use?

How can i delete my yahoo messanger account without deleting my daughters i no longer want to use it?

you can just stop using it. If you want to just delete a contact click on the contacts name so it's highlighted and hit delete

you can't unless you delete the whole thing meaning your daughter can't use it anymore but to delete the whole thing go onto your control pannel and go to remove/change programs scroll down to where it says yahoo messenger and click remove
