Is Yahoo Messenger still not working?

My Messenger has been down since Wednesday, I did uninstall and reinstall several times, is anyone else having trouble? Thanx for your help.

When Msngr 6.0 failed last week, I uninstalled & tried 3x to install neweer 7.5. It blackened my screen, changed settings and wouldn't let me sign..either time. I don't know why I can't install it on Windows XP2000. Yahoo shot itself int he foot. I miss it.
