When i save my messages in yahoo msn., are they saved on my PC?

when i turn the option for saving message archive on, are these messages saved on my PC or anyone else can see them from anywhere if they know my yahoo id and password?

yes they are saved to an encrypted file in the yahoo messenger folder. These cannot be read unless your reading them from yahoo messenger

Your archived messages can be seen by someone who knows what they are doing on your pc....even after you log out of messenger. Go to windows explorer>drive c>programs>yahoo>messenger>profiles>arch... This will save them there if your archives are on.

with message archive on they are saved on that PC only. In other words you cannot log into your account on a different computer and read those messages, well unless you save them in your yahoo mailbox

On yahoo, go to preferences and select archives. N click the box so you can start saving your messages to a place on your computer.
