How can i find new friends in yahoo messenger?

    Yes, there is such a thing.You can go to the different Yahoo! chat rooms. For that click on the top of your Yahoo! Messenger on " Messenger" then on " Yahoo! Chat " then on " Join a room". It will open up a separate window and you can choose form Yahoo! Categories on the left and on the right the Yahoo! Rooms that you might like to join. Click on one room and then on the bottom to " Go to Room" then on top on " Enter Chat" which will open another window. There it will tell you "To enter the chat room, please enter the characters shown above." Then do just that and click " Submit". Now you will be able to chat to other people and get to know people that also use Yahoo! Messenger. Have fun exploring! :o)))

Well, Yeah You can go to some chat rooms and chat with other people. For going in your Yahoo! messenger there would be an option up click there "MESSENGER" (option) then click to Yahoo! chat. After that an option comes click there "JOIN ROOM" So now join a room and chat with people Enjoy!

Open a open chat it should be on the chat menu I know it is for the old one but not so sure about the 9.0 So if you can try having a open chat where anyone can join and also add a bunch of new people to your buddie list
