you can't after you close them you can make an archive then you'll have everything... you go into file and settings/preferences and archive is in there

I would advise downloading Trillian. It's an instant messaging client that is built up on AIM, Yahoo!, MSN, ICQ, and many others. You don't have to have an account in all of them. As long as you have an account in at least one of those instant messaging clients and use your screen name, ID, whatever on Trillian, then all your online conversations and offline messages will be saved indefinitely, or otherwise specified by you. OK?
