How to delete conversations on Yahoo messenger?

Does yahoo messenger log im conversations? if so, how do i delete the log?

  Yes it does log the conversations. If you permanently want them deleted from your computer you will need to delete them from your hard drive. Just deleting the archive in messenger doesn't remove them from your computer. It only removes them from messenger. To do this first open windows explorer- start panel-accessories in xp. Then click the + beside My Computer then the one beside Local Disk (C:) Go down to Program Files and click that one also. Find Yahoo and click on the +, then + beside Profiles and the + beside the Archive for the Profile you want to delete from (if you have more than one profile on your computer) Clicking on Messages will show you in the larger box the folders for each contact you have sent or received im's from. Right click on each folder you want deleted from your computer. If you no longer want Yahoo to save your im's you can change the setting to no longer save them by opening Messenger clicking on Messenger at the top, Preferences, Archive and check the box beside No, do not save any messages on this same page you can change the settings for calls made and received also.
