When I am IM-ing someone, my name appears in the box when the other person receives it. I want to change that display to read as a "nickname" but found no way to do it. ...show more

Click on messenger with messenger open then click contact iinformation and finally chage or add a nick name and edit the rest as you see fit. That's it!

open the messenger, click on messenger tab and click my account info, enter your password, then click edit address/contact info, press the finished button, and then restart messenger, the change should be evident.
