Why can't I log-in to yahoo?

Why i cant login in my yahoo messenger on my mac it says sorry, you have entered encorect login credintials. username and password okay.?

    OK, this may sound crazy but I went through the same thing with the same message appearing, reinstalled Messenger, emptied cache, deleted all references to yahoo, etc. I was also able to sing into yahoo mail and since its the same password was confused to why it would not be accepted in Messenger. Finally in frustration I shut everything off, computer, modem, etc. for a half hour, I guess it was a modem problem, because when I turned everything back on Messenger was working. I guess the modem just had to be reset and cleared. Hope it work for you too.
