Why can't I connect to yahoo messenger?

Why cant i connect to my yahoo! messenger? it said i need to setup a Proxy- how do i do that?

  • it use to work fine, until last week and it wouldn't let me sign on. I am able to use my email, but I can no longer use the messenger.
